Nancy Izor Update Problem I can clearly see in your forums that a recent update has caused issues with a number of your subscribers. Yet, when I called AVG customer service a few minutes ago, they told me, in broken English, there weren't any issues with the update. I'm just about to shell out money to an IT guy to dig into the problem I'm having with my fan constantly running as if it were trying to download an update. Not to mention, I'm trying to get all this done as I wait to see if a hurricane is going to wipe me off the map. Could you at least maybe tell me the truth? Is the update I got yesterday having problems? Yes or No? Is this something you are aware of and are working on or are you confident my problem is not related to your updated and I should be looking elsewhere for a solution? I regret for the inconvenience caused. We have received few reports from customers that a recent update from AVG causing some conflict issues. We are aware of this and have already escalated to the developer team, please reinstall AVG and check if that fix the issue. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.
arthikeyan (AVG Technologies) This is a bug and will be resolved soon. In the mean time, you can restore your computer to the previous point before this update got installed. So, your AVG will work normally in your computer.
なんかSupport Communityの書込みもイラついてキレ気味 Dale Bateman 3029 Update Hi, AVG...... I have seen on the community pages all the problems we are all are having after recent 3029 update. My problem is not as bad as some, but yes I too get the "Last scan, bottom left and Virus on the bottom of the right" on screen is set" last of seconds ago". My problem is like others I have tried your suggestions, BUT you seem to reply by a one to one basis, i.e. By asking that please send a screen shot or logs or other to a AVG address and our technical people will sort, out with YOU!

It comes on when it wants....... and most of the time not at all. " Last computer scan: a few seconds ago" and "Virus definition: a few seconds ago" ??????????????
