最近の電子辞書はよくできたもので、一つの辞書の中に何十もの辞書が入っていて、その情報量の多さに圧倒される
確かに便利になったものだなあと感慨もひとしおだが、紙の辞書には紙の辞書の良さがある
紙の辞書に線を引いたり書き込みしたりして、自分だけの辞書を作っていく喜びは、語学の大きな楽しみの一つだろう

That said, it is unfair not to give due credit to their precursors: paper dictionaries have their own beauty. How could any one deny the pleasure of underlining words, adding in new information, thus making it unique; thus learning language a joy.

東大志望　大文字小文字とかは適当

e-dictionaries today quite perform well,each of which contains information as much as tens of paper dictionaries do.
the amount of information they can deliver to us is overwhelming enough.
i have to admit that they are convenient compared with paper dictionaries,
but paper dictionaries still have unique strong point.
making your paper dictionary unique one by drawing lines or writing things in it
is one of great pleasures you can enjoy through your study in languages with your paper dictionary.
