I looked into Kuzma’s production with different teammates and it confirmed what I was seeing - he’s lost when playing next to Davis + Rondo. Kuzma’s per 36 with:

1) AD/Rondo on: 15.3 pts, 2.2 3s, 38/31/72%, -6.0 NetRtg

2) AD/Rondo off: 18 pts, 3.0 3s, 48/36/70%, +2.0 NetRtg

Kuzma has generally struggled playing next to Davis, as he hasn’t found a natural role and clearly looks displaced. Kuzma’s per 36 with:

Davis on (319 min’s): 16.4 pts, 38/31/77 (49.9 TS%), +0.6 NetRtg

Davis off (315 min’s): 19.9 pts, 46/39/71 (55.8 TS%), +8.8 NetRtg

And Kuzma has thrived playing next to Lebron with no AD. Kuzma’s per 36: 19.5 pts, 50.5/42.5/75.0 (60.4 TS%).

This makes sense given both Kuzma’s familiarity with Lebron and role as primary finisher when AD sits. Just food for thought on future rotations and Kuzma’s trade value.
