Twitter の共同設立者であるビズ・ストーン（Biz Stone）は、
学校給食に菜食の選択儀を導入する事をせがむ投書を提出。
現在、何十万ものアメリカの子供達が肉食を避けている。
そんな彼らにとっての問題は、菜食で不健康になるという事ではなく、
給食に肉ののない健康的なメニューがない事だ。学校に低脂肪で
高繊維質な菜食が導入される事は、ベジタリアンでない子供達にとっても
大きな利点となるはずだ。

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has taken up a cause that requires a
few more than 140 characters to explain. The microblogging exec is
lobbying Congress to add vegetarian options to school lunches,
and sent a letter to Rep. Hundreds of thousands of students across
the country don't eat meat, according to a recent Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention study. However, these young
vegetarians often can't find healthy, meatless meals in the school
cafeteria ... Even students who aren't vegetarian would benefit
from having low-fat, high-fiber vegetarian options.
