しかし、実際の因果関係は逆で、マネーストックが増えると中央銀行がマネタリーベースを調整していただけである。

これは、国際決算銀行やイングランド銀行も認めているし、高橋が主張している貨幣乗数メカニズムは現実には機能していないとはっきり述べている。

当然現実においても貨幣乗数は下がり続けた。

高橋洋一はイングランド銀行をはじめとする実務担当者に理論が否定された後に現実の数字にも否定された哀れな時計泥棒。
